Vitae

Isabel Ott, vintage 1967, lives and works in Berlin, Germany.
She studied Arts at Berlin HDK emphasis on sculpture (1989 - 1996).
Foreign scholarship at Facultad de bellas artes, Bilbao, Spain (1995).
Final exam about Art & Coincidence (1996).
Since then Art Director for feature film, music clips and commercial.

2002 Birth of the Wolperdinger family
Since then increasing work in glorification of everyday life goods.

Ihre bevorzugten Materialien sind das Treibgut des Lebens. Sie gibt den abgelegten Alltagsgegenständen, dem Konsumabfall der Menschen und den ihr zufliegenden Dingen eine neue Bestimmung. Im neuen Zusammenhang erwacht jeder todgeweihte Gegenstand zu neuem, glanzvollem Leben.

Vita

Isabel Ott, Jahrgang 1967, lebt und arbeitet in Berlin.
Studium an der HDK Berlin mit Schwerpunkt Bildhauerei und Skulptur (1989-1996), Auslandstipendium an der Facultad de Bellas Artes de Bilbao (1995), Abschlussarbeit über „Kunst & Zufall“ (1996). Seit 1995 freie Szenenbildnerin für Spielfilm, Musikclips und Werbung.

2002 Geburt der Wolperdinger Familie.
Seitdem zunehmende Arbeit an der Verherrlichung von Alltagsgegenständen.
